Historia

In 2017 we created Balfour, a family business located in San Jorge de Los Chiles. Our intention is to be a responsible company with our suppliers, consumers and the environment. The idea of making chocolates was born in Peru, after learning about Peruvian cocoa and the significant importance that this product has in the country. Motivated by this wonderful fruit, we decided to return to Costa Rica and apply all the acquired knowledge.
